Are you a Tree lover?  Spiritual wisdom seeker?   We can form a GROUNDED ALLIANCE of Being in Relationship to Trees, a  Fellowship with Roots.

Mary Eichorn, LCSW, will share with us an interactive workshop focusing on the diversity and soul found in trees and their remarkable ability to help us gain insight into the wisdom inherent in our own being.

Henry David Thoreau says:  “The natural world has answers to questions that we have not even envisioned.”
Eco-spirituality tells us “We are all one!”
Recognizing and appreciating Our Oneness with the natural world makes it possible for us to receive the heart-full invitation of trees:

  • To reconnect with our core humanity and rediscover qualities such as:  resourcefulness, regenerativity, reliability, and resiliency.
  • To remind us, who too often forget about optimism and hope, that we have only to rediscover them.

Mary Eichorn received an undergraduate degree from Kennesaw State University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Georgia.  Currently retired, she has lived in Hendersonville for the past 5 years.  She was a practicing psychotherapist/counselor for the past 25 years, the last 15 in private practice.   Mary, being a tree lover, has found a home here amongst our beautiful flora.  She has come to believe that the trees have much wisdom to impart…especially since they predated us by centuries.  She, therefore, started snapping photos of trees, eventually adding words, and the results, hopefully, tell the story of their lives.
